About this event
For USk Week, Urban Sketchers Dublin are doing a special sketchwalk on the 4th of May along the Liffey river, which runs through the city centre. Anna Livia Plurabelle is the name of a character in James Joyce's Finnegans Wake who also embodies the river. We will start sketching at 11 at the Diving Bell.
1. Diving bell
2. Tropical warehouse (has a relief of a river god), and/or Samuel Beckett bridge and control room
3. Famine memorial, Scherzer rolling lift bridge [STOP FOR LUNCH]
4. Custom House with the river gods
5. O'Connell bridge - there's a little wooden quay below street level from which to draw the city view.
6. Trinity college - crash on the grass and sketch something
7. Pub
